FORTH.travel – Terms & Conditions

FORTH.travel (“FORTH”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a culture-first travel platform that curates group travel experiences worldwide. FORTH.travel operates under JODA.studio, its registered business name.

By booking a trip or participating in any experience organised by FORTH.travel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

FORTH.travel trips are generally designed for adults aged 21–40. All participants must be at least 21 years old at the time of travel, unless otherwise stated for a specific trip.

2. Bookings, Payments & Pricing

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Payments are processed via WeTravel unless otherwise stated.

  • All prices are listed per person and subject to availability.

  • Full payment must be completed by the deadline communicated at the time of booking.

Refund Policy

  • If paying in full, you may request a refund (excluding the deposit) within 5 days of payment.

  • If paying in instalments, only the first instalment (excluding the deposit) may be refunded within 5 days.

  • After this period, all payments are non-refundable.

  • No refunds will be issued for payments made within 60 days of the trip start date, regardless of payment method.

3. Cancellations & Changes

Traveller Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your booking, no refunds will be issued beyond the terms outlined above. Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by FORTH.travel.

FORTH.travel Cancellations

FORTH.travel reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, supplier issues, safety concerns, or force majeure events.

If FORTH.travel cancels a trip, a refund will be issued minus any unrecoverable costs, including supplier deposits or operational expenses already incurred.

4. Travel Insurance & Health

Travel insurance is mandatory for all FORTH.travel trips.

​

Your policy must cover:

  • Medical emergencies and treatment

  • Repatriation and evacuation

  • Trip cancellation, delay, or interruption

  • Theft or loss of valuables

  • Any activities included in the itinerary

​

FORTH.travel is not responsible for medical expenses, emergency transport, insurance claims, or pre-existing conditions. Travellers confirm they are physically, mentally, and medically fit to participate.

​

5. What’s Not Included

Unless explicitly stated, trip prices do not include:

  • Flights (international or domestic)

  • Travel insurance

  • Visas, passports, or related fees

  • Excess baggage fees

  • Meals and drinks not listed in the itinerary

  • Tips and gratuities

  • Personal expenses

  • Optional excursions

  • Medical or COVID-related costs

FORTH.travel is not responsible for third-party services booked independently.

6. Instalment Plans & Failed Payments

  • Instalment plans are automated through the WeTravel platform.

  • You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available.

  • Any bank or processing fees are your responsibility.

  • Failed payments must be resolved within 48 hours.

  • Repeated failed payments may result in booking cancellation without refund.

7. Traveller Conduct

FORTH.travel reserves the right to remove any participant without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, illegal, or violates group guidelines, including excessive intoxication or abusive conduct.

Any costs incurred as a result of removal are the traveller’s responsibility.

8. Liability & Force Majeure

FORTH.travel is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, airline disruptions, civil unrest, pandemics, or supplier failures.

In such cases, refunds may not be possible due to non-recoverable costs.

9. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility

While we carefully design each FORTH.travel itinerary and do not anticipate changes, travel is dynamic and plans may need to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances.

FORTH.travel reserves the right to modify, adjust, or amend any aspect of the itinerary before or during the trip if required for operational, safety, logistical, or external reasons. This may include changes to accommodations, activities, transport, timings, or the order of experiences.

If any itinerary item must be changed, we will make reasonable efforts to replace it with an alternative of similar value, quality, and theme. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

​

Such changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund, provided the overall nature and value of the trip remains materially the same.

​

10. Unused Services & Early Departure

No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a trip once it has commenced, including early departures, missed activities, late arrivals, or voluntary non-participation.

Travel insurance with cancellation and interruption coverage is strongly recommended.

11. Traveller Documentation

You are responsible for ensuring all required travel documents are valid and up to date, including passports, visas, and health documentation.

FORTH.travel is not responsible for denied entry, delays, or missed travel due to incorrect or missing documentation.

12. Content Creation & Media Usage

Some FORTH.travel trips may include optional content creation support.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Content you create remains your own.

  • Content captured by FORTH.travel may be used for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes across digital and print platforms.

  • You grant FORTH.travel a worldwide, royalty-free right to use your likeness in any media.

  • No further consent or compensation is required.

FORTH.travel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment.

13. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks. By participating in a FORTH.travel trip, you voluntarily assume all associated risks.

FORTH.travel is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or third-party actions.

​

14. Drugs & Alcohol

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Responsible alcohol consumption is expected.

FORTH.travel may remove participants who violate this policy.

​

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FORTH.travel, its affiliates, and representatives from any claims arising from your participation or breach of these Terms.

16. Privacy & Data Protection

FORTH.travel collects personal information only for booking, operational, and communication purposes.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

18. Updates to These Terms

FORTH.travel reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
